El Carnival

We went to the church carnival as is customary for us Halloween hating pentecostals. At least that is how I was raised. Who am I to buck tradition? The kids were completely excited. Vanessa wanted to wear her costume the minute she woke up that morning. It was torture for her to have to wait. That is all I need is her tearing it up hours before the event. So no, you wait.
Logan was happy for candy. He wasn't too big on the idea of playing games until he realized he got rewarded for it. All of a sudden he became a willing participant. There was also a stage show where Vanessa won a prize. Logan was content to stand down front and dance his little heart out to the music.
I think I should mention that his costume was removed about half way through the evening. He needed room to move! Then it was off to the granparents house where Vanessa pretended that her baby cousin was her baby sister. Kaitlyn really seems to like Vanessa. She kept trying to take a bite out of her every time she got near. Vanessa didn't mind.

We had lots of fun and candy which the children will NOT leave me alone about. They will not be satisfied until it is all eaten. I can only handle so much sugar overload a day. I think their candy may last them until Christmas.

Your kids are so stinkin' cute! I think all girls have to either be fairies or princesses EVERY year...I think it's "girl law"....Someday, just maybe they'll be creative (hey, Hannah was a basketball player this year!)
