Well it turned out to be perfect weather for going to the pumpkin patch. We picked Vanessa up from school and headed out of town to the pumpkin farm which is mostly a berry farm. We learned that on the hayride. Here is Vanessa before picking out her pumpkin.
Logan was overjoyed to see so many "punkins". He wanted to take them all home. We had to take pictures in all the cut outs we could. I think they are hilarious. Yes I am entertained by this carny style of ridiculousness. I cannot pass one up, so neither can my kids......or Dan.
Don't we make the cutest scare crow family?! I cannot stop laughing at these. I gotta make some at home to keep me busy on those rainy days.
Logan and Vanessa took a spin on the John Deer tricycles. I couldn't get a good picture of Vanessa. She was not concerned with a perfect picture that day. She was in "farm" mode.
She did manage to slow down long enough to take a big bite out of Dan's carmel apple. Logan didn't want any. He was eyeing the wheel barrow.
He is the cutest little farmer ever! He tried so hard to keep his pumpkin in the wheel barrow so he could push it around, but it kept falling out. Gravity can be so cruel. He didn't care much for the pumpkin-pult either. Vanessa was ready to launch anything she could get her hands on.
It could not have been a better day at the pumpkin patch. We all had such a great time. Maybe we will go back again before Halloween, but if we don't I will be satisfied with this one trip.
